Color Doppler Echocardiography

Color Doppler echocardiography provides a two-dimensional moving image of the heart. Near the upper left, the heart can be seen beating, and the heart valves can be seen opening and closing. Color is used to show the direction and speed of blood flow through the atria and ventricles.
