This axial CT scan (left) shows a lytic lesion of the sacrum (red arrow) with anterior soft tissue mass (white arrow). A biopsy showed giant cell tumor of bone. After 4 years of denosumab treatment, the follow-up CT scan (right) shows progressive ossification of the tumor (green arrow) without an increase in size.
