Diffuse Idiopathic Skeletal Hyperostosis (DISH)


Characteristic x-ray changes include large ossifications anterior to vertebral bodies (the calcification appears as if someone poured candle wax in front and on the sides of the vertebrae), bridging several vertebrae.
