    Acute Dacryocystitis with Fistula

In acute dacryocystitis, the chamber that tears drain into (tear sac) is red, swollen, and painful. This photo shows a collection of pus (abscess) that has formed and ruptured through the skin, creating a passage that pus can drain through.
