    Chronic Venous Insufficiency (Skin Changes)

    Chronic venous insufficiency causes the skin to turn red or reddish brown and to develop scaling, weeping, and crusting. The changes are easily visible in both light-skinned (top) and dark-skinned (bottom) people.
