  • An abnormal endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) scan, a type of x-ray of the biliary tract, shows irregular flow of white dye, indicating strictures (narrowing) in the pancreatic duct. This finding is typical of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas).
