Chronic Dacryocystitis
Dacryocystitis is frequently chronic with bulging of the skin over the small chamber into which tears drain (lacrimal sac). When pressure is applied, the bulge is often not painful, but a puslike or cheeselike material often comes out of the opening at the inner corner of the eye near the nose (punctum).
