Chemotherapy-Induced Anagen Effluvium


Anagen effluvium is a physiologic disruption of the anagen (growing) phase. It typically occurs several weeks after chemo- or radiotherapy. An abrupt loss of hairs in the anagen phase along with sparse broken anagen hairs is depicted.
