		Histoplasmosis

In immunosuppressed patients, histoplasmosis can disseminate to the skin, bone marrow, brain, liver, spleen, and lymphatic system. The oral lesion in this image mimics a chancre of primary syphilis but yielded Histoplasma capsulatum on testing.
