    Scleritis (Nodular)

Scleritis may be diffuse, nodular, or necrotizing. Diffuse scleritis mimics conjunctivitis or episcleritis with diffuse episcleral and scleral hyperemia; nodular scleritis is characterized by a hyperemic, painful, edematous, and raised nodule.
