    Equine blood smear, rouleau formation

Blood smear from a horse that exhibits rouleau formation of RBCs, a normal finding in this species. An eosinophil is also present. Platelets stain poorly, a common characteristic of equine blood (Wright-Giemsa, 100X oil immersion).
