    Traumatic retrobulbar hemorrhage, dog

    In traumatic retrobulbar hemorrhage in dogs, hemorrhage displaces the globe forward but not sufficiently to produce proptosis. The impaired blink reflex quickly results in corneal damage and ulceration and is treated by temporary tarsorrhaphy.
