		Disorders of the Claw Capsule in Cattle

Horizontal groove approaching thimble. As a deep groove or fissure approaches the apex of the claw, the tip sometimes ruptures. The fragment at the apex of the claw is only attached by sensitive tissue and then the condition is referred to as a thimble.
