A 41-day equine pregnancy in the right uterine horn. By transrectal palpation, the cervix and uterus have excellent tone and the bulge seen here is easily palpable. Initial pregnancy diagnosis by ultrasonography should occur at 14-15 days after ovulation to detect and destroy a potential twin.
