Blood film from a dog with Mycoplasma haemocanis infection

Blood film from a dog with Mycoplasma haemocanis infection. Organisms appear as small basophilic cocci occurring individually and in chains across the surface of RBC. Increased polychromasia indicates a regenerative anemia (aqueous Romanowsky stain).
