The important ixodid ticks include Amblyomma spp, Anomalohimalaya spp, Bothriocroton spp, Cosmiomma sp, Dermacentor spp, Haemaphysalis spp, Hyalomma spp, Ixodes spp, Margaropus spp, Nosomma sp, Rhipicentor spp, and Rhipicephalus spp.
