When health is given at home, people and/or caregivers can choose between a manual and an electric hospital bed. For a manual bed, all changes in position (such as raising and lowering the head of the bed or adjusting the height of the bed) must be done using a hand crank. For an electric bed, the bed's position and height can be changed by pressing a button.
